Close to the waterfront for walking and seeing the cultural district — and lots of different eating places. The hotel has been tastefully renovated and features historical photographs throughout. The breakfast was terrific with many healthy options such as fresh fruit, cereals, different breads, eggs, cheese frittata, a variety of juices and teas — and great coffee. Yummy pastries too!

We stayed in a large family room suite and it was perfect! It was an excellent value for the night and the pool was a bonus. The staff were friendly and responsive when we were inquiring about cribs. We will for sure stay there again!

Everything was great, except they shut the slide down at 6pm rather than the 8pm they had told us earlier on in the day when I had called to triple check all pool and slide times, as this was the only reason for our staycation. So that was very disappointing, there was about 15 let down kids who were told the same thing as we were

Kelowna is a city with everything. We did a bunch of shopping and we love to eat at the many amazing restaurants there. The gluten free pizza at Boston Pizza is one of my favorites. There are many areas to hike and the parks and beaches are gorgeous.

We stayed at the Royal Anne which was right downtown, close to the beach, marina, lots of restaurants and coffee bars. The downtown area was clean, we felt safe walking the streets in the evening. We had a lovely dinner at the Marina and watched the sun set in the Park. Kelowna is a good base if you want to visit other towns in the Southern Interior as we did.

My partner and I were in Kelowna for a family birthday. We always have a good time in Kelowna. We also did a side trip to Osoyoos.
We ate at the White Spot, Denny’s and IHOP.
Took a walk through the Orchard Park Mall.

Spending a vacation in Kelowna has always been a great retreat. The beautiful Okanagan Lake eases all the anxieties from daily life and the summer heat. The winery tour, wine tasting, and feasts add flavors that make the trip a success. An unforgettable journey…

We went to Kelowna for a wedding.
We went to Kelowna for a wedding. Traveling through Kelowna is a chore. You are on the highway, but it has lights everywhere and despite 2-3 lanes, the traffic is busy. The city allowed businesses to come to the highway so it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to over 60 minutes to travel from W Kelowna to E Kelowna; poorly designed mayor/council/civil engineers!
I'm from Vancouver Island, so all the brown hills are not impressive to me. It was prettier at night. There is a nice board walk "downtown" and a section has been left for native plants/trees. There are marinas and lots of green space.
There are tons of vineyards and wineries; the wedding we attended June 2024 was at Off The Grid Organic winery. The views of the lake from up on the hill were lovely. It was a good place for a wedding and was sunny and warm.
We also went to Scandia minigolf (FUN) and the Kangaroo Creek Farm which was excellent! Many of the animals are surrender pets and they have lots of trained handlers that gave us tons of information and told us how to touch (or not touch) various animals. They have sugar gliders which are the most adorable creatures. The one we played with leapt from her handler to us and crawled up our shoulder and nuzzled in "spaces". Super cute and a highlight of our stay in Kelowna.

The breakfast was very good and such a selection. Rooms were a great size and quiet. The pool was fun and clean. Didn’t use the fitness room but looked like it had all it needed. We have stayed in lots of hotels across Canada and this has become the best one we have stayed in so far!
Lovely hotel with everything you'd expect and more...complimentary breakfast; my husband couldn't get enough of it. I'd never book anywhere else in Kelowna, that's for sure. This place has my continued business.
Clean, well maintained property, but cheap. On the prairies this hotel would be $79/night, but it's Kelowna and truly it's location is amazing and it's what you're paying for.
