It was at the north end of the Malecon.across from Rositas on the beach. It was clean, receptionist and all staff were very nice and professional. It was quiet. The room had great hot shower, fridge and tv. Nice clean beds. Good air conditioning. Too bad there was no microwave. There was a coffee pot but no coffee. Tons of the little shops and restaurants all over. I had a lovely foot massage from just down street straight from hotel. Starbucks next door was very weak coffee and not cheap.

We enjoyed the Mexican restaurants in the December 5 neighbourhood. The food was excellent, the presentation superb. The Romantica Zone has too many tourists and we sometime wonder who owns the restaurants. The prices are more affordable and the food is really very good. Here are a few suggestions:
Elpatio and Bixabeel on San Salvador Street, next door you will find the best baguettes
Meno’s Place Honduras/Bolivia

Beautiful city right on the ocean with tons of places to eat, drink, shop & people watch! I do suggest walking a few blocks away from the malecon (pier/boardwalk) to find better prices on...... everything. Food, drinks, souvenirs, everything. Make sure to go to the bank and get pesos, that will save you some money as well as different places have their own exchange rate or only take cash. A lot of places take credit cards and/or US dollars but, again, they use their own exchange rate.

Amazing beach town, lots to do - going out, bars, restos, street food. The view is breathtaking and incredible sunsets. Only downside is that it’s harder to swim in the ocean because of the waves and rocks, but the view makes up for it. We did not have enough time to do all the activities we wanted, such as a day in the jungle of the botanical garden or taking water taxis to he hidden beaches around.

Puerto Vallarta is a very busy city .
Puerto Vallarta is a very busy city . If you like a nice beach this is not the place for you. The biggest amusement seems to be walking on the Malecon which is a big boardwalk with restaurants and shops. I realize people go there for the nice weather but if you want to meet and interact with Mexican people it would be better to visit the smaller towns. I did not stay at a resort so it may be different there.

PV is a wonderful adult vacation destination.
PV is a wonderful adult vacation destination. Friendly, safe, beautiful, hundreds of great restaurants and bars. Fun times on the beaches just relaxing and socializing. January-to early March weather is ideal - lows in low to mid 60s and highs in upper 70s to lower 80s with a slight breeze. Sunny almost every day. Easy to get around PV in cheap taxis with friendly drivers. Buses also accessible and easy and cheap. A large majority of service workers speak English well, but I like to speak Spanish with them when possible. If you don’t have a great time here, it’s your fault.

This hotel is on the beach and near many restaurants, several which we tried out. All were very good. We didn't spend too much time in PV as we preferred to travel to smaller towns and villages such as Chacala, San Sebastion del Oueste, San Pancho.

Bed was comfy, shower was great. Room was cute. Bartender wasn’t working 2 out of the 4 days I was staying there. I booked this hotel to chill out and read around the pool, have a couple cocktails. They were doing some maintenance that was so loud 2 out of the 4 days I was there as well. They should have ice available for guests when bar is closed without having to ask staff over and over, they seemed a bit annoyed.
The hotel is cute but I wasn’t able to relax the way I was hoping after traveling from Vancouver to Mexico
Hotel had an elevator. It was on the beach. The pool was nice and warm, the area around the pool was also nice. Beds were very comfortable for sleeping & it was quiet at night. The view from the balcony in the early morning & watching the big ships come into the bay and leave at night. We love whale watching from the balcony. The staff were great especially the young lady who worked during the day at the front desk, she was absolutely awesome.
Exceptional hotel! The suite was huge and quite well appointed. The beds are incredible! The staff were all lovely, good food and drinks at the restaurant. The grounds and the pool are very well maintained. The neighbourhood is very quiet. It is about 30-45 minutes from the Romantic Zone area, but ride-shares are easy to get and inexpensive.
The hotel was central for that part of Puerto Vallarta. Not mt favourite area but fine for a few days. Good restaurants are found on adjacent streets plus many places for great massages. The roof top pool was what drew me to the place. It was lovely. Small but warm.
Everything!! Amazing little gem in the heart of Romantic zone Puerto Vallarta. The hotel is full of character & charm. Staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome.
