Ibis Budget Charleroi Aeroport in Gosselies features a 24-hour reception and is a 5 minutes' drive from Brussels South Charleroi Airport. Brussels city center is a 1-hour drive away.

We arrived at the hotel after returning our rental car at the airport. We had only a small trolley and walked to the hotel, which took about 25 minutes. It was in the evening, the weather was pleasant, and the walk was manageable. Under different conditions, though, the hotel is not very close to the airport. Our flight was early in the morning, so we used the hotel’s shuttle service to the airport during the night. The service cost €13 and was very convenient.

Set a 10-minute drive from Brussels South Charleroi Airport in the charming village of Fleurus, the ibis Charleroi Aéroport offers functional accommodations and a bar.

It was close to the airport, the front desk person was nice and helped us with facilitating the transfer to our flight. The heater was a little problematic, but it worked in the end. The hotel was a little loud, you could hear people talking on the stairwell or closing the doors, but the hotel provided earplugs. The water was hot and equipped with soap and clean towels . Overall it was a good stay, considering the price-quality report.

    It's good but only for airport stays. As its around 2 hours from the Brussels city center .. so depends what you want to do..we only booked for 1 night before our early morning flight. But spent rest of few days in Brussels city center so.we can reach all the attractions easily

    Nice little town with good food in the centre. We enter a random boulangerie with restaurant and it was great with lots of vegan and very delicious options but with a great non vegan variety as well. It’s a pity I do not remember the name of the place…

    It felt very unsafe, even for Sunday, in the city center. We haven't seen any police or other public servants anywhere, the city is filled with people of all types and mainly poor people asking for money. Also, you could smell weed everywhere and rubbish. Broken bottles on the sidewalk, urine smell and a bad feel about the whole place. This is the city center. The whole impression is of a decaying city, unsafe and not that tourist friendly. Will probably never return.

    the city is under construction works (obviously to have a better face in the future) but it doesn't seem the safest place to wonder on the streets..a lot of digging and broken streets due to the renovation works in the whole city..i wouldn't spend more than a day here

    The town is well located for day trips to Bruxelles, Brugge and Luxembourg. Town itself has many little cafés and restaurants as well as popular chains. A nice warm shopping mall in the center. Extensive redevelopment going on everywhere (railway station and road junctions). Palais de Beaux Arts seemed firmly closed when I visited (a Saturday in January) despite many posters advertising it. I will come back, but when it's warmer.

    Great place to stay near Charleroi airport. Creatively docorated big room with aviation and Tintin style. We were starting our cycling trip from Charleroi and it was possible leave our cyclebags to Hotel which made our trip much more easy. Good breakfast and very good service. I will recommend.
