The 'Bloc' hotel is very unique. It resembles a Japanese pod style hotel, due to the small and all-in-one nature. I have stayed here before, and it meets and exceeds my expectations. It's clean, modern, comfy and cosy. If you're just trying to rest your head before a flight I would recommend it. If you're staying longer than two days, I'd look to the Premier Inn or similar as it's a bit small and claustrophobic for long term accommodation.
The smart room controls are a bonus, you can control the lighting, HVAC and blinds from your bedside control panel, or mobile telephone.
On average, 3-star hotels in Horley cost $155 per night, and 4-star hotels in Horley are $181 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Horley can be found for $227 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).

We found a wonderful Italian Restaurant called ZENO'S where we had dinner. During the day we visited a great Thrift Shoppe around the corner from PLANET SWEET CAFE. At the cafe we had a great lunch.

Excellent location, you could literally fall out of bed and straight into the airport. Really comfortable bed, plenty of room, shower room was huge and accessible for anyone with mobility issues. They had ironing board/hairdryer etc in the room, neatly stored in the very ample sized wardrobe. This was our second overnight stay here and will definitely rebook with Hampton by Hilton for any future flights from Gatwick.

Ideal place to stay just before your early flight the next day, shops at your fingertips, Wetherspoon close by for a quick drink.
We grabbed a taxi, with ease, and went to a lovely pub for our evening meal, called Ye Olde Six Bells, the food was top quality, huge menu to choose from.
Our Bloc room was very clean, the bed was king size and very comfortable, I had a peaceful night’s sleep, woke up refreshed at 4am, no worries about getting stuck in traffic as you’re already there ;)

The hotel was modern, clean and very comfortable, and ideally situated for Gatwick Airport.
The nearby town centre had plenty of bar and restaurant options and the hotel reception staff were very happy to help with suggestions and distances.
We were only there for an early Gatwick flight but would have been very happy to have stayed for longer

The location is good, "landside" by Gatwick South arrivals. If you see Wetherspoons above and in front of you take the lifts in the right hand corner to level zero to get to the hotel. Check in was quick. My cabin was down a step, other cabins were up a step. The cabin is very small but I managed OK with the bed. The shower and toilet area was small but worked fine with provided shampoo and shower gel/bodywash. 4 UK sockets available to charge items.
A clean pleasant convenient hotel with good parking at an additional cost. The room was quiet and comfortable, if a little compact. It was great for accessing Horley town and the numerous restaurants and pubs.
We did not have an early flight from Gatwick and before 8 am there was hot water for my wife but after 8 am it had run out and I could not take a hot shower.
Excellent small hotel near Gatwick airport, located close to Horley town centre just a few minutes walk away, bus stops to and from the airport just outside the hotel and the train station is a 10 minute level walk. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room very clean and having stayed her numerous times I will continue to use it.
