The apartment is perfectly located to visit Rovaniemi and reach all the points of interest (excursion shuttle bus, supermarket…). You will find all the equipment you may need during your stay. Silja is very nice and will give you all the tips to elevate your stay in Lapland. The apartment has 2 big bedrooms, and the fully-equipped kitchen (with a Nespresso machine !) is open on a cozy sofa and a balcony. The Scandinavian decoration is very nice and peaceful. It was a real pleasure to stay here ! I highly recommend and will come back for sure !

Hotel staff is very very helpful. Hotel location is very good for Lapland outdoor attractions such as husky sledging, rein deer farm visit, snow mobile tours and skiing. Staying in chalet was a good experience. We enjoyed the fireplace and sauna. We enjoyed silence of the nature around us and amazing scenery of chalet in the forest. Extra tours we purchased were amazing. Kids loved them and they will always remember the experience. Hotel staff is very helpful and they stepped in immediately when we had a heating issue once.

If you are looking for a perfect base in Lapland - look no further. The hotel is located outside of Rovaniemi in a breathtaking location by the river. Mikko (the owner) and his staff are gracious and hands-on hosts, nothing was too much trouble, breakfasts and dinners were delicious and our room was warm and comfortable. We greatly enjoyed our snowmobile and dog-sledging adventures and while we only caught a glimpse of the Aurora, the trip was nevertheless most enjoyable. Thank you and we hope to see you again soon!

Great location and facilities, very friendly host Would highly recommend, Dimtri also provided an airport pickup for €30 (about the same as an uber). He also allowed us to stay in the apartment for the rest of the day for a small fee (we were travelling offpeak). Alternatively we couod have used the luggage storage facilities. Location was very close to city centre, around the corner from bus for Lapland winter park. A 24 hour shop in the Shell garage across the road and a supermarket was 5 mins walk away.

The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. The sauna in the room worked really good, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and it's available until 10. Products are fresh and local. It's really a pleasure to eat at Lapland Hotels. We had also a rich buffet dinner for twenty-five euro, we ate a lot of delicious food and we were really satisfied. Check out is at 11 am, which is convenient. Lots of parking space. Wi-Fi worked good as well. Nice gift shop near the reception.

A magical place! The staff were helpful and considerate and could not do enough to make our 4 night stay a pleasure. We stayed in the Aurora Cabin for 4 nights and it was excellent. The sauna in the room was also an added bonus. The buffet food was good. In the two other hotels we stayed at in Helsinki and Lapland, both had Porridge on the menu for breakfast. All in all a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to recommend the Wilderness Hotel, Muotka to anyone.

Everything was perfect. While the room temperature in other hotels we stayed in in Lapland was fixed at 20 degrees, here we were able to adjust it as we wanted. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. When you enter the hotel, you can arrange all the activities with the help of the staff. Seeing the northern lights was amazing!!! It was very enjoyable and easy to walk from the bungalows to the restaurant, to the deers and the huskies.

The hostel was clean with fresh sheets provided. The kitchen facilities were very good - young woman with blonde hair was really lovely and helpful - There are guides where you can read through activities on what to do in Lapland - Shop isn’t too far away, you can have very cheap meals which is good - near Santa clause village, good if you want to see Santa, bad if you don’t want to see Santa

Excellent breakfast and lovely dinner as well. The staff was absolutely amazing and very helpful. The view to Saana is breathtaking and the location of the hotel is very good, only few minutes from all the major nature trails of the area. This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in Finland. Not just plastic Lapland decor for foreign tourists, but an authentic place with wonderful atmosphere.

Kristiina was really lovely. She sent me a message with useful information prior to my arrival, and she was there to help with anything you might need. The room was very clean and nice. We also enjoyed the breakfest and the coffee in the hotel's restaurant. We stopped twice in 2 weeks during our vacation to Lapland, and we will for sure come again during our next visit in the area.

Laplands Hotel Hetta is in a great location right by a beautiful lake. It is a great stop-over if you are traveling through. The hotel offers a kind of good old fashioned 70´s vibe, even though it has clearly been refurbished at various times. It is a lovely resort hotel, with a great restaurant serving wonderful local produce. The staff are very friendly too.

The apartment is exactly as advertised and more! Great location, convenient and well equipped! Easy car park, shops, restaurants within walking distance, yet quiet and in the middle of Lappish nature. Clearly, the hosts are passionate about Lapland and want to share this with their visitors. It made us feel very welcome and as if we were home, away from home.

I love the apartment and the location is fantastic just so close to the city center with co much shops around. also it locate near to the river that perfect for evening walk before dinner. the host has been very friendly and helpful it makes my stays in Lapland and unforgettable one. definitely will come back again on my next visit.

Excellent location - 8 minute walk to snowglow winterpark, whixh is also where you can get buses to lapland winterpark and santa claus village; and about 12 minutes to angry birds park. Lovely and clean apartment with adequate space and secure entry to the building. Welcome book contained useful info. Would definitely stay again

It’s a compact but very comfortable and well equipped apartment in a good location to walk to the market, restaurants, ski park, Husky & Co., Lapland safaris, etc. for all the activities. The large dryer was a great addition to help all the layers dry out by morning. Sauna in the bathroom also very nice.

Im happy to have made it to Lapland but I fell into a tourist trap and Im more of a shoestring budget traveler so it was quite a shock to get a room that was very basic for 178 euros & I had to jump right back on a bus in the morning without even getting to explore. Its my fault really, not the hotel

An amazing location for Lapland if you want to be central and don’t want to drive. Gorgeous penthouse, very comfortable bed, very modern, cost, clean with gorgeous views. Next to Naava Cafe which is amazing for kids. Amazing restaurants right on the doorstep. Luggage storage in the same apartment block.

Everything we needed was there, and very clean. The little apartment is furnished with style and love (especially the art is beautiful!). The location is great to start exploring Lapland, and would also be great for skiing. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming!

The cottages were by the river and had a very beautiful location. The cottage was fully equipped and had all the necessary equipment. The heating worked well and the bed was very comfortable. If I come back to Lapland, I will definitely choose this hotel again.
