A car is mandatory to visit this region. The road conditions are excellents, parking are free everywhere. The beaches are very clean with white sands, transparent sea. The existing buildings become old (80's). A lot of German people on this part of Fuerteventura.

The town Costa Calam itself is not beautiful (to many typical tourists), but the beaches nearby are absolutely fantastic. Small beach bars round things off. An absolute mecca for kitesurfing and windsurfing

We chose Costa Calma as it is supposed to be the least windiest part of the island. When the wind did blow it was acceptable as it benefitted us in the heat.. It's not too far a walk into Costa Calma where everything that is, is !!! Wednesday & Sunday Market is conveniently situated & walkable. It is as advertised an " African Market " Great for hair braiding, leather goods & repetitive stalls

Costa Calma is a perfect choice for those who want to unwind and enjoy nature, especially the stunning beaches. While it may not be ideal for party-goers, it’s a great place for relaxation, scenic walks, and enjoying the laid-back island vibe. Costa Calma is a great family-friendly destination with plenty of options to keep kids entertained while parents relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Mostly big all inclusive hotels, hug the beach in Costa Calma, which shows, in that there are few bars and restaurants in the outer areas. We stayed at R2 Maryvent apartments and would highly recommend these. We ate at Asia Garden (40E for 2 and take home leftovers) and Mamma Mia (less than 20E for a great pizza, fries and two drinks), both excellent service and great food. Choose your accommodation wisely and do your homework or you could end up in the middle of nowhere, unless that's your thing!

Rooms were large with nice large balconies. Great view of sunrise from my room or the hotel front. Lots of sunloungers and swimming pools. Location right on the beach, out of the main centre of Costa Calma. Staff friendly and helpful (although sometimes too few of them, especially on reception and in the food hall, often had to wait or ask for a table to be cleared). Room service helpful and flexible. Good hot shower. New Year’s Eve special dinner was really nice, with some excellent food options.

The perfect location for a small family getaway. Most of the clientele at the hotel are older couples. If you're looking for partying and nightlife, this isn't the place to go. If you want a relaxing vacation with great food and amazing views, look no further than Risco del Gato and Costa Calma! Restaurant Terraza del Gato adjacent to the hotel is 10/10.

Amazing location near both the shops, cafes restaurants and beaches. We chose this location as we know from past experience it is the best area of Costa Calma, and Costa Calma is the best place in Fuertaventura for swimming and sun. The host, Javier was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the safe and the comfy sofa.

Friendly host. The apartment had a very nice and comfortable balcony and had a very personal touch. Taking dinner on the balcony between the large palm-trees was a great expierience. Perfect spot for exploring the south of Fuerteventura.
