Just at the border of the desert and the quiet was our absolute favourite thing. Quietness of the place itself but also in the room, being it soundproof. Loved having the little outdoor space all by ourselves as well and a big bathtub. The room was huge with a very comfy bed and couch. Staff was amazing as well. The manager, who also speaks perfect English, went above and beyond to help us. Couldn’t have been happier.

The tent was big and clean , very comfortable. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed the sunset-sunrise views, the dune bashing, and my kids left very happy with camel ride. Very affordable and acceptable price compared to other camps prices . Thanks, Salem, for a great desert experience. I highly recommend this camp to anyone visiting Oman's Wahiba Sands.

Constant supply of coffee and karak tea particularly useful following a sunrise walk! Authentic, tasty food, with both dinner and breakfast provided. Obaid is very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of exciting tales about Bedouin life. I also really enjoyed trying on Bedouin clothes and learning to dance, as well as milking the goats and feeding the kids.

It’s a LICENSED camp, which means they have a license from the Ministry of Tourism to run the camp and lease land from the government. The location is great - underneath a huge dune that you can climb and admire the views. The views from the dune and stunning especially at sunrise and sunset. It’s quite far from the towns at the edge of the sands and from other camps, which means it’s really quiet there - sometimes all you can hear is wind. The owner is very nice and hospitable, as are the staff. The food was great, with a lot of vegetarian options.

Great experience, the tent was clean and nice, the food and drinks were decent and available day and night. Staff is really welcoming and helpful. Location is amazing, you're completely surrounded by dunes, and you're far from the main road, so it's the perfect desert experience.
