The location is very central, just 3-5 minutes from Arena. The rooms were ok, the air conditioning was not working but they brought us heater. There was no kettle in the room and they brought us immediately. The breakfast was also very good

Having an SUV, I wanted to avoid driving in the Verona city center. The BW was a find. We got two rooms with breakfast for the family. We had free parking. There was a bus stop across the street that took us into town.
We walked to a wonderful dinner from the hotel. There are several nearby options. The staff was very helpful.
Breakfast exceeded expectations. There was a delightful selection of pastries, fruit, jams, a tub of nuttella with a pump that made me fall in love again! There were also a few hot items. The wonderful staff helped us with the fancy Nespresso machine. It was great.
It was also cool to take a short drive to their local Eataly.
One more time I'll mention that the staff was friendly and helpful. Wonderful stay.

A darling of Shakespeare, beautiful Verona is the literary home of Romeo and Juliet. The medieval families of Montague and Capulet immortalized in the tragic play did actually exist and some buildings relating to the Montagues are still present.
Sorry to disappoint, but the place purporting to have been Juliet's house in Verona was not actually where she lived. However, it’s still worth suspending reality for a while and stepping out onto the balcony to see if Romeo turns up.
Another of the must-see Verona sights is the Arena, a largely intact Roman amphitheater which is now the spectacular setting for outdoor summer operas. Smaller Roman relics include the stone bridge that crosses the river by the Roman theater whose remains are partly beneath a house.
The city’s narrow streets house many cafes and restaurants which have cheaper fare than the touristy ones by the Arena, although admittedly the views are less impressive. Life in Verona is laid back and elegant, so expect to see some well-heeled Italians on a post-dinner passeggiata.
Verona Airport is a little out of town, so you’ll need to take a bus to get to your Verona hotel, apartment or B&B. Book with Booking.com for the best choice.
A pretty town and worth visiting. However, unless you're wanting to take in the museums and other ticketed attractions you can probably see most of the old city of Verona easily in a day. (Lots of walking, mind.) When we went, the Arena (Roman amphitheatre) was closed for a fortnight for renovation work, but that would seem to be a "must see" and might change our estimate. Don't forget the funicular railway just the other side of the river.
We used Verona as a base for exploring slightly further afield. We found staff in the Tourist Information centre to be really helpful and would recommend this as a stop even if you think you know where you're going. You can easily get trains and buses from Verona to places such as Peschiera for Lake Garda and the ferry (about 1 km from the station), Padova, and Venice. In March/April each year there is a tulip festival in Valeggio - we loved it.

The city is gearing up to host the Winter Olympics which meant that a visit to the arena was not worth it as you literally just walked in and no further, even the people on the entrance were apologising before you enter.
Loads of school trips whilst we were there.
But we still enjoyed our visit and wished we had stayed longer.

Quaint city which is a refreshing change from the heavy tourism and commercial push of larger cities. It has history, provides culture, mix of nice restaurants but also a pace that enables you to gear down and relax.

I had an amazing stay at Francesca’s Bed and Breakfast in Ponte Florio, Italy. The area is lovely and just a 10-minute walk to the castle. It's perfect for avoiding the crazy lines in Verona.
Francesca and her family were super accommodating and even gave me a lift to the bus stop because my bags were heavy. They made me feel right at home. Plus, their dog Jack is just wonderful and added a fun touch to my stay.
If you're looking for a cozy, friendly place to stay near Verona, this is it. Highly recommend!

Very nice, cosy hotel in the heart of Verona. This is small boutique hotel, reception is not available 27/7, so better to contact hotel if you want to check-in after 17:00
Breakfast served in the restaurant, few steps from the hotel. Room was big and cosy. Very comfortable double bed. Very friendly and helpful reception lady.
Loved my stay so much. It felt like it was a 5 star room (actually, suite) at a 5 star hotel. Blown away by the beautiful room, bathroom, the hosts kindness & help and the location. It’s my favourite street in Verona. Highly highly recommend!!
Hotel Milano and Spa was located just by the Arena and Piazza Bra. everything we wanted to see in Verona was easy walking distance from our Hotel. They also arranged airport transfers for us and the rooftop bar is a great chill out area
