A Beautifully Restored Loghouse That Combines Heritage With Modern Amenities.

We fell in love w this place last year. We have now enjoyed a summer stay and a winter. They were both awesome.

I stayed with my dog for 3 nights and just love this log house and the surrounding property. The beds are comfy, everything is perfectly placed, and Martha has thought of everything to make this a beautiful place to get away and relax. We loved walking on the trails; you can take a different route every day and never get lost, cause all trails lead back to the cozy log house. Can't wait to get back there soon!

Love this property with its historic charm and modern amenities…Communication with the owner is excellent…Loads of trails to take our two King Shepherds for adventurous walks…beautiful to see the blooming wild flowers and the many birds and occasional deer…interesting books to pique anyone’s interest…private,quiet and so serene…a relaxing escape from the bustle of “ life”…looking forward to our next trip…

Peaceful. Lots of well kept trails to experience. The cabin is a bit of a tardis. Large and bright. We really enjoyed sunrise and sundown in the screened in porch. Could not have had a better hostess.

We loved every second of our stay Maggie’s Hill! The cabin is beautifully appointed and comfortable, and the history is fascinating. Martha made our stay even more memorable by telling us the story of the cabin and introducing us to the natural history of the surrounding area. Highly recommended!
