The apartment is just a few steps away from the tramway allowing easy travel across the city. Alternatively, guests can walk to the centre of Florence in 25 minutes. It is a beautiful stroll along the banks of the River Arno. Among the jewels of Florence, not to be missed are the Uffizi Gallery (33-minute walk), the Ponte Vecchio (30-minute walk) the famous cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (36-minute walk) and the Medici Chapels (33-minute walk). For some quiet relaxation in nature, the Boboli Gardens, behind the Pitti Palace, are a treasure trove of fountains and statues.

Florence is full of excellent restaurants to suit all budgets. But if you want to cook at home then the best produce is available at the Mercato Centrale (18 minutes by tram). This huge covered market sells the freshest seasonal and local ingredients

For guests who want to explore further afield, famous destinations such as Lucca, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena and Greve in Chianti make an ideal day trip. They are all about an hour\'s drive from the apartment.

Florence’s international airport is only 15 minutes away by taxi and can also be reached by tramway. The main train station, Santa Maria Novella is a 10-minute drive.
