Behind the Data

The study was split into two primary categories: Travel Providers and Travel Creators. Each group received a tailored survey. The survey was open globally to Travel Massive members, partners, and the travel industry at large.

Over the course of 3 months, we collected insights from 36 countries with the highest numbers of participants located in the USA, Canada, the UK, and South Africa. Less than 2% of creator participants identified as nomadic.

A popular hypothesis is that numbers are the primary driver of high service cost and while numbers do play a big role, we've learned that quality has its place and smaller creators can earn a healthy income just the same.
